Pre-Dispatch Inspector/Fettler

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside and support our existing fettler / pre-dispatch inspector, fettling and inspecting heavy, mild steel fabrications prior to dispatch.

The role will be predominantly involve:

• Using hand held grinding equipment to clean and remove weld spatter from large fabrications (1-2 tonnes).

• Visually inspecting fabrications prior to dispatch, following guidance from inspection sheets.

• Using jib-cranes to move work in and out of area.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be physically fit.

• Have a good eye for detail.

• Be able to take instruction.

• Have worked in a similar, manufacturing / welding environment.
